Yes! That is a bad-ass way to ship a product! Ha haa!
Great video Joseph! Thanks for sharing!
Do you think that this unit is still worth getting in 2022, or have Epiphan got something else on the way?
It's still unique in its feature set; if you need what it has, then it's the right product. If you aren't using all the features, then there are cheaper ways to go. Tune into my live stream today from NAB and the epiphan booth showing off their latest streaming technology https://youtu.be/GX00NDo-HgM
8,000??? wow, imagine what a $8k computer would be able to do instead of this box. Definitely not average consumer grade.
I currently have a Canon 70D and have withheld from upgrading to the 80D as I'm looking to get something with 4K capabilities and also with higher frame rates at 1080p. Was looking to buy a GH5 and keep my EF mount lenses to use them with a metabones speed booster. If you are able to, can you test lenses with a speed booster please. I was interested in the quality for video with full frame lenses and APS-C lenses and if any vignetting occurs. From my research I see that only the metabones ultra can be used with APS-C and full frame lenses but XL speed booster can only be used with full frame. Is this correct? Hopefully your testing will help me decide to get a GH5 and metabones Ultra speed booster to go along side my Sigma 18-35mm F1.8, Tamron 11-16mm F2.8 and Canon 50mm F1.8. Thanks in advance
