I’m thinking of getting the x2 but would you know if a new one is coming out soon or the x2 will be going for a while still please?
PhotoJoseph thank you.
I couldn’t get a straight answer out of Epiphan on this. I’d say if you’re not in a rush, wait to see what NAB brings. That’s when companies like that often make big announcements.
What switcher are you using on your IPad? Live:Air by teradek?

I prefer the way you sound in the primary stream. The secondary stream seems to be missing the high frequency content (like a low-pass filter was applied, probably in the mic capsule itself). Also YouTube says the secondary stream was 20 fps, which looks really weird (right-click and choose "Stats for nerds" and it shows the frame rate and resolution).
+Gary Cruz I thought of that before the show but chose to use it as it shipped since I wasn't able to test beforehand. But don't worry; I'll test this mic more and will be sure to try it with and without the windscreen.
+Quentin Smith Oh that's interesting. Thanks!
Man Joseph Your show is really great doc. This reminds me of how honest TV in the 70s use to be..... oops I'm telling my age
+Mychal Simmons Thank you man! I really appreciate that :-) (and don't worry, your secret is safe with me 🤐!)
