BTW, many GH5 vids are very germane to the G9, especially since the Nov '19 2.0 firmware upgrade. Again, Joseph, many thanks for your paring down my still steep learning curve. Keep 'em coming please.
Amazing tips and tricks.
I dont clear undesrtand the program P with vídeo mode. And Why i cant see información in display of shuter or diafragm with this program P , when i shoot vídeo ?

Is like press the red button when the camera is on photo mode?
Sorry for my english Im from Spain
PD: you speak so quick but I can understand you perfectly although English isn't my mother language.
This looks like a bug to me, maybe firmware fix. But I do not take selfies so no problem to me.
When I found out about that easy way to change button functions on the G85 (proabably from here) it was a mixed blessing. Great that it was (is) so easy, but also disapointed as the only button I may change is Fn #4 for the trash can since I use the touch screen. Panasonic nailed the buttons to such a good extent that I do not have to chance them. With the customisable quick menu and "C" presets I find the buttons do exactly what I want.
I hope that rotary dial on the GH5 is worth sacrificing the 4 way switch like on the G85 as I really like it and with the icons as I forget what they do sometimes. The G85 is the best camera I have ever owned for ergonomics. But I suppose the same people designed the GH5 so it will be as good. Looking forward to seeing one in store soon.
The outside test shows all the footage he took, none left out, nothing edited:

Maybe Max had a faulty body.
Yes, there are bugs, a bunch of stuff needs to be fixed. But consider how many bugs are in major release of Windows or Mac OS, you need to wait until x.2 or x.3 if you want everything to work
SO, here's a BUG I noticed. The .mp4 file generated by Post Focus 6K won't play in FCPX or Quicktime or PS. But, it will play in VLC. The only way I could get it into FCPX was to run it threw Handbrake using "same as source" and .MP4. So if you don't image stack in camera, it's a ROYAL PAIN to do in outside of camera. Hopefully Panasonic is aware of this, and a fix is in the next firmware update. It's some kind of transcoding issue new with 6K. My GH4 has no problem.
I have a question here Joseph regarding my babe (The GH5) why when I'm in Movie mode (Rec)
FYI I'm using the Panasonic 25mm f1.7
Thanks a ton
This trick of long push the Fn buttons is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!
Gear ergonomics - it sometimes that drops cameramen away from getting the right and perfect shot... And there is the sample where developers are DEFINITELY did A LOT of awesome things and "re-thought", "slept over" with many key tasks & features which almost every modern camera has but almost none of its users can reach 'em right away in a spontaneous flashy moment of time when even a 5 secons DOES MATTER... We all know that everything comes into place when we talk about a professional applications...
Thank you again for your job, Joseph! Get well soon! And God Bless You!
