Loved your book and now want to whip my existing libraries into shape using your organizing scheme. Am I correct in assuming I can use batch processing to reorganize photos that are already imported?

My history is that I have been organizing my photos in the Finder in a format that looks like Pictures / Year / Event. At one point I even added a number in front of Event so that the events would sort somewhat chronologically. I haven't actually imported (working Referenced) that many into Aperture, and unfortunately, those that have been imported are only organized by random project names, which has become quite unruly to manage.

Now I have a new computer and an opportunity to reorganize my main library and combine other libraries into it too. I'm a bit paralyzed by all the possibilities and have been afraid to proceed. I understand how to fix the presets for the new imports, but what about my existing mess? Please advise. Thx!
