Following a burglary I've had to buy an older Macbook Intel Core Duo running 10.6.8.
I've installed (from a disc) Aperture 2.1 successfully into my applications folder. But it won't open, i get a message 'You can't use this version of Aperture with this Mac OS X. You have 2.1'.
I tried downloading the 2.1.4 update, but it won't install I get a message 'You need Aperture 2.0.' So I'm stuck in a Kafka-esque world of Catch 22. Any ideas? I'm running Aperture on my Imac, installed from the same disc, with no problems.
