This is not totally about aperture. Im doing another Rebuild of the Library and while Im doing that I have on the Activity Monitor to watch the Ram being distributed. If I leave AM on my Free Ram keeps getting smaller but the Inactive ram gets larger. As the Free Ram get down to 50bm my Pageouts rise up indicating to some that I need more ram. Which seems are to believe when I have 5GB Inactive. So if I do this intensive processor task without the AM on and just briefly turn it on and off my page outs stay at 0. I wasn't aware of a Ram drain by the Activity Monitor. Anyone else? I have a .png image but no mobile Me acc. sorry
