I do Racehorse Photography , at any meeting there are 6 races, I want to be able to split all the images in any particular race in a Project into say Race 1 Race2 Race 3 etc within that Project, what is the best way ? Folders don't seem to work, ? Thanks

Have you try to use keyword? you can define Race 1, Race 2 etc as keyword.
Then you can create 6 smart album filtering on the race from your race.

You can select the images from a project that belong with a race and create a New Album named Race1, etc..
Very simple.
