Is anyone else having this problem? It's really bad especially with NIK and Topaz Labs which are 2 plug-ins I use the most. The only one that doesn't do it is NIK's new HDR Efex Pro 2.
I get the pictures looking just how I like them and when I hit save they come back horrendous. I've also noticed extreme banding appear as soon as the plug ins open too.
I have everything set to ProPhoto, I'm using the latest version of Aperture and Mountain Lion OS X10.8.1
I shoot with a Nikon D800 and this started happening about a month ago, any suggestions?

I haven’t seen what you’re referring to. Which Nik plugin is it you’re seeing it in? Although since it’s showing up in Topaz filters as well, it’s more likely an Aperture issue. But still, what exact versions are you using?
Do the images look horrendous after a restart of Aperture? I wonder if it’s just the preview. What if you export the messed-up file as a JPEG; what do you see?
Just for giggles, try changing your color profile to sRGB or Adobe RGB.
