I've got a strange problem that just started the other day. When I right click on an image and select 'Export->Version', it doesn't properly export the jpeg version that I select, but what's weirder is that from then on - the drop-down for selecting formats is dimmed out completely. It will only export the NEF file. I relaunch Aperture, even reboot the Mac - no joy. Then several days later, the menu option comes back, although it never works; the cycle just begins again.
My first thought was to delete the Preferences, but when I go to Library->Preferences and look for com.apple.aperture.plist, *it doesn't exist*. Not there at all.
Running Aperture 3.3.2 on OS 10.7.4. Help! I can't export files for my clients!
Joe,
Sounds like you’re looking in the root folder, not the home folder, for the preferences file (and yes I’d recommend trashing that). Check the FAQ for instructions on finding it if you’re not sure what I mean.
cheers,
