This was a special Q&A session, where I responded to requests of “What’s your approach to creative image processing”, “Can you show all aspects of printing and soft proofing”, as well as “How do you move from Managed to Referenced”?

I was intending to broadcast live but it turned out I couldn’t from my current location, so I just recorded a session on my own. And guess what… it turned into 90 minutes (!!) of training. Wow. I spent the first 50 minutes showing off three different images and my approaches to them (live, non-rehearsed, “see how I really do this” kind of thing), then 25 minutes on the print dialog (which is kind of amazing since I’m somewhat clueless when it comes to printing… and so in full disclosure, if you’re looking for the end-all be-all description of printing in Aperture, do NOT buy this video for it), and finally the last 15 minutes on moving from Managed to Referenced.

NOTE: Unfortunately an annoying audible buzz appeared a bit over 30 minutes into the recording. It doesn’t make it unwatchable but it is annoying. Since the first 30+ minutes are just fine, and that’s what I’m usually selling for $2, I decided to release this anyway. Even if you can’t bear to watch the whole thing, you’re still getting 30+ minutes of goodness at that price. I have a call in to tech support to figure out what happened :(
