Hi guys,

what a great forum - new to Aperture and reading around here has been a real help.
I am currently in the process of importing all my photos into Aperture and am trying to get it right - Metdata etc.
I am working referenced and would like to keep as much information as possible in the metadata, so that my photos are forward compatible should I later want to use other applications etc.
Two issues cropped up:

-Is it by now possible to turn geo-tags into IPTC location data or the reverse?
-Is there a way to write either IPTC location data or geo-tags or both into the Master File metadata without the export workaround?
