So when I select  Quick Fix -> Auto Enhance on my import settings, it is supposed to auto adjust five areas by default - White Balance, Exposure, Enhance, Curves, and Highlights/Shadows. But when I import photos (RAW), the auto adjust feature only seems to be working in Enhance, Curves, and Highlights/Shadows. The checkbox in White Balance and Exposure remains unchecked and these two adjustments don’t activate. Does this mean that Aperture is satisfied with the data straight from the camera in these areas and doesn’t need to make any corrections? 
 

If that’s the case, why can I then click “Auto” in White Balance and Exposure and it will still make adjustments? Why didn’t it make those adjustments upon import?
