Before upgrading to Aperture, I used iPhoto. When I hooked up my phone to my Mac the videos on my phone would import into iPhoto. I have not tried this since upgrading to Aperture. Just curious, does this work the same in Aperture?

Pretty much exactly the same. I have a couple of smart albums set up, one for iPhone pics and one for iPhone videos, and then have those set to sync to my iPhone in iTunes. So take pics and video, sync to Aperture (deleting from the phone), resync in iTunes and they’re back on the phone. The videos play in Aperture as well.
