This has probably been asked and answered before - but does anyone know why Aperture doesn’t recognise a temperature white balance preset?

Shooting RAW only with a Nikon d800, and every other white balance mode shows up correctly in the file info, tungsten, shade etc, but setting to a specific temperature - eg 4550K always shows up as Auto White Balance.

ViewNX recognises it and shows the temperature, so the information is is the file. I can’t understand the logic behind it not showing correctly.

Any ideas?
