Ran across this site today thanks to Lifehacker: https://macosxautomation.com/automator/photos/index.html and was intrigued because it adds some actions to Automator specific to Photos and looks like it would allow me to import from Dropbox to Photos easily, for an older person who has a similar and easier setup with iPhoto. I am running into some issues with the importing (unable to read metadata), but I’m communicating with the developers about that. Just thought I’d share.
