I’ve been experimenting with importing an Aperture library into Photos. I can’t figure out where Photos gets it’s Title and Description from. I guess they are completed from an IPTC field, but I can’t see which ones.

Can anyone help?

Also, I presume that if I import my Aperture library into Photos and decide to go back to Aperture, I can delete the created Photos library without losing any Aperture data due to the use of hard links.
