Wonderful and informative video. On the issue you had with it not working with the latest Apple system software, blame Apple. As a software developer, Apple is notorious for pulling the rug out from under our apps. There was a day when they were careful not to do this and had developer support to avoid this from happening. Now they don't care about developers anymore. Frankly, they don't seem to care about computer users anymore, based on the fact that they haven't released a pro-level machine in 8 years.
Joseph, they used to point a reference camera (say your panasonic) at a color checker filling the field of view, feed the output on UltraScope, (gives you vectorscope and RGB parade), then FREEZE the output on screen with opacity, so they will see through. Then take a camera you want calibrated (BM), point at a color checker filling the field of view, feed the output on UltraScope and having that frozen overlay they start playing with the knobs, making live UltraScope output from BM match with frozen screen from panasonic.

The stupid YouTube Studio app doesn’t tell me what show this comment is attached to; it only shows me the Thumbnail. I think you’re asking about the scope display and color controls, right? The color control is only for BlackMagic cameras on an ATEM switcher. The scopes monitor will show you whatever you feed it. The USB one I had though is discontinued and never updated for the current OS. They do make a hardware screen with scopes on it though. Just plug in any camera and get a full read-out. Does that help?
