$1000 iPhone X and they decided to not include a fingerprint reader on the back is a huge mistake. Hundreds of Android phones with small bezels put the fingerprint reader on the back since 2014 and that is the best way to authenticate in a smartphone. Apple forcing you to use 3D face unlock on their $1000 phone is wrong. Also Apple's choice to cut out the display at the top is also very wrong, they should have put the selfie camera and other 3D face scan etc sensors at the bottom and ask users to flip the phone when doing stuff in selfie mode, same as the $500 Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 for example (also has 6" HDR proper bezel-less display).
