I was wondering I know you are in to using Panasonic gear when you can but thinking for your top camera if you could use an Olympus body with their 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Pancake zoom which I think you should be able to control remotely. I think that is the only m43 lens that has electronic zoom but I am not sure if it works on anything but Olympus bodies. I am suggesting this as it would allow you to zoom on demand without using your step.
With your live loop audio I was thinking of 2 possible solutions that should not cost much at all. I think you could either try using a Bluetooth connection or a mini AM or FM transmitter and receiver. As long as there is not too much interferance or delay introduced I would go the with Bluetooth.
PS where is your review etc of the G9 if you don't do it soon you will be too busy on the GH5s?
Thanks for watching and the sharing your thoughts!!
