I have been a fan of Nik Software since the beginning, particularly SilverEFex Pro for B&W. As an Apple Photos user, Nik was a super solution for making edits not available in Photos without accessing a whole other editing app. It nicely round tripped my photos. I was excited to get the upgrades after your demos but was bummed that Nik no longer works with Apple Photos. DXO was nice enough to get me the prior version installer which does work but I think DXO is missing an opportunity to capture the new crop of photographers coming in through the iPhone who want something more than Photos, but aren’t ready to go to an Adobe or other pro editing product.

Technically it's not officially supported. You can use the “Edit With” option, but it's unpredictable. At the moment, the official word is that you have to first export from Photos, open in Nik, save and reimport. But I'm confident this will be resolve.
