Stacks question... #1

Hi Guys,

Now this is probably dead simple but on v1 or v2 of Aperture there was an option to make stacks closed as a default when you opened a project/folder etc.

But since v3 I cant find this option and whenever I open a project or folder the stacks are always open. No big deal really but it goes against how I've always worked and is beginning to bug me.

I think the old option was in prefs but as far as I can see the option is no longer there, any ideas?

Thanks

Pix in Pix,

Hm, I don’t recall any such option. Unfortunately I no longer have an Aperture 2 install so I can’t verify it.

However I’m also not seeing this problem. Can you reproduce it as simply as by creating a stack, closing it, going to another project, then back to the first one, and the stack is open?

If so, you may have a corruption in the Preferences or in the Library at large (repair or rebuild). If not, the can you please outline the precise steps to make the stack appear open after you’ve closed it for me?

thanks
