I have been doing a lot of plug in work at 16bit and my image sizes come to be about 100mb each.

does (10) images at 100mb each equate to 1gb of increase aperture library size?

not sure if aperture compresses the images otherwise at this rate I will be out of internal hd space, i know i can use an external but still.
