User Tip: Automatic Chromatic Aberration Correction in Aperture 3

This is a very, very clever User Tip. Johan Elzenga johanfoto.com has developed a way to automatically apply your own custom Chromatic Aberration presets (that’s correction for color fringing that shows up on some photos from some lenses) to your photos in Aperture — on import, no less. It’s all through the power of Applescript, and one that’s remarkably easy to modify to suit your needs.

Elegant use of Aperture’s AppleScript capabilities and this can easily be extended to other lens parameters. (e.g. vignetting).
