A logo is a pretty important thing, and I've known I needed a proper one for a while. During the days-that-shalt-not-be-named, between ApertureExpert and now, I used the iOS Photos app as a logo. It was never meant to be permanent, but I'm sure glad I didn't have a new one made then! Now with the idea of supporting any and all photography apps, on any platform, it didn't make sense to use anything resembling a product anymore. So it took some time to figure out.

Here's what we came up with—it's a logo that says “Photos + Apps”. I say “we”, but what I really mean is my awesome graphic designer / wife, Alenka of AlenkaDesign!

New Facebook page

Also, for those who use Facebook, I've set up a new page dedicated to this site. I know a while ago I asked on there if I should split it from my PhotoJoseph Studios business or keep them together, and the consensus was to keep it as one, but with this name change I didn't have a choice. So starting at zero page likes (man that's a scary thing to see), all post traffic is heading there. So please be sure to head over to facebook.com/PhotoApps.Expert and LIKE the new page!
