TWiP Apps 20: HoudahGeo; Like Pins on a Map…But Better

What would it take to put your photos on the map? Apparently not much more than a GPS logger and a curiously named app called HoudaGeo. Seeing every photo you’ve made populate a globe on your screen is a fantastic way to relive old memories, find photos based on where, not when, and simply explore your photo library from a whole new dimension. Very few cameras outside of our Android and iPhones have GPS built-in, but with the addition of a little piece of hardware or even an app on your smartphone, you can record precisely where every photo was taken, every time. It’s easy. It’s fun. And it’s from Houdah Software.
