Well every since I updated v3.4, I've been having lots of strange and inconsistent problems with FlickrExport. I reauthorized access on Flicker for the plugin hoping it would become more stable, but no luck. Here is the error I'm getting when I try to update an image thats already posted on Flickr ~ it still let's me update metadata, but not the image itself.
The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1011.)
Question: Maybe it's time for me to try Apertures Flickr again (sad day), but does it allow me to update an image on Flicker without replacing it and losing it comments and view count? If so How?
Thanks!
SesHat,
I believe if you update the image that’s in Flickr (i.e. you make a change to the version that’s sitting in the Flickr album in Aperture), that gets pushed to the server… is that not right? Then that would maintain comments, etc.
If however you wanted to replace the photo with an entirely different one, then no, you can’t do that.
