This may be a bit early, but I’m looking for some advice. I currently shoot with a D3, I’ve been considering getting a GPS data logger and bluetooth receiver. Does anyone know yet how Aperture would react with a log file as opposed to embedding info in each picture. It would save about $150 on the Red Hen receiver.

Someone else was asking me about this recently. It works great (I shoot Canon so don’t have the option of embedded GPS… grrrr) and have an old Sony logger. However the other reader wasn’t getting his to work.
I’ll post a step-by-step but it’ll be late next week after WPPI.
