Thanks Thomas. I primarily use the PhotoStitch software my Canon came with, but it doesn’t do a great job of hiding the seams, especially in the sky, so that’s why I’m looking at other options that might be more intelligent and won’t require me to redo the sky. Any ideas?

Not that I’m aware of. I haven’t heard of one, and I just checked the Apple plug-in page as well as asked the great Google.
There are some great stand-alone apps though for this, such as DoubleTake. Check out their page on how to use their software with Aperture, here.

Still no plugins. But I wanted to also mention Canon provides a free application with its cameras called PhotoStitch that does panoramas.

I personally use Photoshop CS5 which works great but is costly. Other options include:
1. Photoshop Elements 9 $80 on Amazon.com
2. Autopano Pro $145 (see Macupdate.com)
3. DoubleTake $25 (see Macupdate.com)
I’ve use an older version of Photoshop Elements which worked well. I haven’t used the other two.
The original question asked for an Aperture plugin which none of these are.
