Hi Everyone,
Happy new year!
The default Aperture library has smart albums with stars. I'd like to create similar albums in some of my projects. Rather than simple typing text “3 Stars”, I'd like to show actual stars as shown in the default library. Any ideas how to create the stars? Using an asterisk just does not cut it..
Cheers and thanks

A rather tedious but effective solution by which I was able to accomplish your goal is as follows:
System Preferences - Keyboard. Check Show keyboard and character viewers in menu bar. This brings new item into menu bar, click on it , then click on Show character viewer and scroll down pane on left to Bullets/Stars. Select the star you are looking for and copy it to a blank page in Pages. It then serves as a source from which to cut and paste as you wish to label albums or folders.
I am sure there is a less tedious path for you, perhaps someone may help us find it.
Happy New Year!

The easiest way is to double-click the existing smart album with the stars and the name will go into edit mode with the stars selected. Just copy and paste into your new smart album. That’s where I got these: ★★★★★
