Hi, I have one referenced library on my computer.
I have the referenced files spread haphazardly over two 2tb external drives, initially all files were on both drives for redundancy, however as the drives have filled up I've ended up in a mess where they are mostly duplicates but there are files on one that aren't on the other and vice-versa.
I am trying to consolidate all the referenced files onto a new larger drive, and don't know what the best way to go about this is.
Ive got as far as copying one 2tb drives contents onto the 4tb drive, but don't seem to be able to merge the second 2tbs contents, it wants to overwrite instead.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
All work images probably have a keyword indicating Work so make a smart album. Then select all those and relocate using AP File —Relocate originals. You could also export those as a new library, and keep two libs. Cheers

Hi DBmoore, thanks for your help.
So to clarify, I simply need to connect both drives that contain the referenced files, and the new drive, and then select all photos and relocate masters to new drive?
Sounds great if so!
Thanks again.
Think so But much surprise to my mother Im not perfect. Cheers
