Is there a keyboard shortcut to delete all versions of an image?
I know I can do file>delete original and all versions but no keyboard shortcut is suggested next to it. I shoot motor sport so I'll be deleting large number of images as I go through them rather than just the odd one or two.
You can customize Aperture’s keyboard commands.
Select Aperture->Commands->Customize…
If you haven’t made a custom command set yet, you’ll need to duplicate the default set because you cannot change the default. In the top left of the Command Editor you’ll see a popup menu. It should be set to Default if you haven’t done this before. Select Duplicate from that menu and give your custom set a name.
Your new name should now be shown in the popup menu.
Search for “delete” in the search field in the top right. Select the command you want to change in the command list then type the keyboard shortcut you desire. I would suggest using option-command-delete but you can use whatever you want. You’ll see the keys appear next to the command chosen.
Click the “Save” button in the lower right corner and you’re done.
