I have the latest version of Aperture 3.5 and updated the system to Mavericks.
For some applications I use the same library under iPhoto 11 version 9.4.3
When starting Aperture it requires an update of the library. Once done it gives problems when trying to open the same library under iPhoto.
It gives a pop up box telling you to update iPhoto to the latest edition, but I cannot find a newer version.
any tips?

Peter,

You need iPhoto v9.5 to go along with Aperture 3.5. It should be available from Software Update.

Thanks Thomas
I see in iPhoto updates dat 9.5 is available, but once I click to download the update it tells me from the update menu that my software is up to date although I have no 9.5 installed. How can I still force a download?
Any ideas?

Go to the Mac App Store, select the Purchases tab, and select iPhoto from there. You should be able to force the download from there.
