Is there a method for removing a color label from a group of pictures? I can do it picture by picture but when I select a group only the first picture in the group has the color label removed. I'm sure there is something simple I am missing! Thanks in advance for the help!

You have the “Primary Only” setting enabled. Disable and your labels will apply to all selected.
Edit->Primary Only or use the button at the bottom right of the browser window.
