When I am traveling I would like to use my iPad to store my RAW Captures and then when I get home transfer them to Aperture on my iMac.
I cloud will transfer the images , but once received in Aperture , they will not be editable.
Can anyone tell me how to do this ?
Thank you,
Allan Schneider
You have three options.
Hope that helps.

You cannot edit images in Photo Stream. They must be in a project. That is why Walter suggests above two different ways to get them into a project from Photo Stream (option 2 and 3) without needing to connect the cable to your Mac.
If you already had auto import enabled (the default)(option 3), you probably already have them in a project. Aperture names the projects based on the month/year the photo was taken. (e.g. Dec 2013 Photos)
Once Aperture creates a new project for the current month, you can edit the name of the project to anything you want. Aperture will still remember it is the auto generated project and import new Photo Stream photos into it for that month.

That I did not know. Excellent!
