I made a 100 page XL book of recent trip to Prague and Germany and need to make books for the family members.   I love them but not paying $169 per book for each of them so want to make a large paperback version for the other family members.   Looking for best methods to take the format of my XL book and turn it into a Large paperback version.   I was hoping to duplicate the XL book project and then reset the size to Large and then rework all the picture frames, but haven’t been able to locate such an option.

I don’t think you can go directly how you would like. I know you can duplicate a book, but I don’t think you can change the size. I think the size is set when you create a new book. You can change the styles, but I don’t think the size.

Unfortunately you will have to start fresh.

You have the layout concept but the new size format will change all of your layout parameters.

That’s what I thought too. You can duplicate books and you can switch from one book theme to another, but you cannot change the book size. You should be able to select all of the images in the book film strip and create a new album containing them. That would at least make it easy to add just those to a new book you create in the size you desire for your family. I don’t know if setting a manual order in that album will be preserved when adding them to a new book. That sure would be helpful, wouldn’t it?
