These guys obviously REALLY want to penetrate the market. But seriously: Is there anything that lets these products stand out from the rest of the pack. Is there anything that you really can do better with the MacPhun products than with the other apps like Aperture, Lightroom, Nik, onOne or YouNameIt? I have my doubts…

I think that they offer some nice tools that are easy and fun to use. The tilt shift is unique, and some of the other tools are creative and playful. You could make the same argument about the other tools; it's just another set of software on the market. Maybe not as capable as the others you mentioned, but also a bit cheaper.

You are right. I tried them. Their products are pretty cool, especially Focus 2. And I didn’t say they are not. I just said that they are not better than the others for the most part.
I don’t really know why I feel the need to say these things. Maybe all the marketing hype everybody seems to be polluting social media with is starting to get on my nerves.
