Hi Hammer i dont import in DNG but you could use adobe to do it for you :) but i can see that you shoot with Nikon like me And DNG was created so that no matter what app you used it could read the file but since you use Nikon i would not worry so much because it is supported by Apple and others you might want to check this out i thing that using Nikon or Canon you dont have to worry about any thing

Except that NEF isn’t always NEF. Aperture 3.2.4 doesn’t understand D7100 NEF, and apparently never will.
