Edits to RAW files won’t be brought over. Files saved as JPEG and TIFF files will come over. Aperture saves edits to a different/non-compatible file than Adobe does. Adobe can’t read the edits that Aperture makes and vice versa.
Keep in mind, that Bridge is not a DAM solution … it is only a browser that works well with Adobe professional products.
The biggest flaw in Bridge as far as an asset manager is it can only track live connections. Images stored on unconnected drive for instance cannot be referenced.
Conversely, with solutions like Aperture and Lightroom, while you can’t make development process adjustments to disconnected images, you can work with organizational metadata.
