The new Macphun Creative Kit 2016 — including pro versions of Tonality, Intensify, Focus, Noiseless, Snapheal and the new FX Photo Studio — is about to be released, and here's what you need to know!
- You can pre-order Creative Kit 2016 today for a discount, and you will get the software on October 15, 2015
- The pre-order price gets you $455 worth of Macphun software for just $89.99 — these are the pro level apps, not the light versions that are available on the Mac App Store
- The bundle price goes up to $149.99 on the day of release; October 15
- If you already own Creative Kit, you'll get a FREE upgrade to Creative Kit 2016
- If you're a Photos user, you have a decision to make… the Mac App Store (non-pro) versions of Tonality, Intensify, Noiseless and Snapheal will be updated when Mac OS X El Capitan is released (possibly already by the time you read this) and will support the new Photos Extensions architecture.
The Creative Kit “pro” versions of these apps will NOT support Photos — yet. That support will come soon, but no release date has been announced.Update 2015-10-11: Great news! Macphun just told me that the Creative Kit 2016 will support Photos on its October 15 launch!

Hi Joseph, Thanks for the post on Macphun. Though not none destructive I really like the Macphun way of making adjustments. Compared to Lightroom it seems more simple in the UI. Yet at the same time it still allows you to do very complex work without loosing your way when applying a lot of adjustments in one picture using layers.
However, as Macphun consists of several apps, do I have to go in and out of Photos in order to switch from say Intensify to Noiseless etc? I guess that if I have to save a picture as a TIFF-file several times using the different Macphun apps that some ‘destruction’ will occur and quality will be lost. Do you think this is a serious concern?
Thanks, Michael

You do have to go back to Photos and then back out to whatever other app, however TIF is a lossless format, meaning no quality will be lost as you save over and over again (unlike JPEG, which will degrade with every save).
