I want to reinstall Aperture but it is not in my Purchases or updates in the App store since I bought it as a DVD several years ago - it is only version 3.1. I have version 3.4.5. How can I get the latest version which I believe is 3.6? I am still using Mountain Lion on an iMac. I’m reluctant to upgrade the OS further as my old version of Filemaker then won’t work and it contains captions to all my photo slides which are invaluable to me.
You don’t need 3.6 unless you are going to upgrade to Yosemite.
I had the same problem, having bought a DVD too. A call to Apple resolved this. They asked me to provide proof that I had bought the DVD and then they sent me a redeem code to allow me to download 3.6 from the app store.
