I'm making a slideshow and wondering if there is a away to force Aperture to pair photos up or not. At the moment it's making its own decisions and I'd like to customize what it's doing a little more.
If not (and I'm assuming this is the case)… what would you use for slideshows that can mimic the look and feel of Apple's themes with more customization?

What theme are you trying to use?
According to the Aperture manual, how much you can change can vary based on which theme you’re using: “Note: The availability of controls in the Selected Slides pane of the Slideshow Editor depends on the theme applied to the slideshow.” If you’re just trying to re-group slides then you might have luck by just rearranging them in the browser area of the slideshow editor, and that will change the order in which they’re used in the theme.
If none of that works, I know lots of people who love Boinx Fotomagico, though I’ve personally used it.
