*OK, not exactly, but there was a potentially very telling blurb during the iPhone->Photo Features section of the WWDC Keynote today.
“We’re working on a new ground-up photo solution for the Mac built with iCloud in mind.”
“Ground-up photo solution” doesn’t sound like an iPhoto refresh, and they wouldn’t make an iPhone-centric app in *addition* to iPhoto and Aperture. My guess is that they’re going to merge the features of iPhoto and Aperture into a new product with all kinds of mobile integration.
Fingers crossed that it brings the best of both worlds and doesn’t turn into a “Final Cut Pro X” scenario.

If they can make a better photo app that still has all the manual manageability of Aperture, all well and good. Somehow I don’t see “cloud centric” applying to the 20GB+ I can generate from a single shoot, however :)
