My RAW files look good in camera and previews (properly exposed ) but when opened in aperture the exposure goes to underexposed any suggestions on a fix or continue to stamp the entire import they are very dark when they process
The preview you see in camera is a processed JPEG rendering of the RAW file. I’m not familiar with Canon camera settings - so there may or may not be a way to tueprn this off. The histogram (both in camera and in Aperture) will give you a better indication of your exposure vs. what you see on the back of the camera.
Hi, I actually have the same problem with raw files from a D800. At first the pictures seem fine but once you click on it I have an icon that says loading for about 2 seconds and then it coverts it to underexposed and loss of detail. Sounds more like an aperture issue then. I was just looking for someone with similar issues.
