I recently dropped a pin for a photo on a small village, which came up with a location name of United Kingdom, which wasn’t as specific as I would like. I saw how to make changes in a video Joseph did, by right clicking on the pin. I don’t seem to be able bring the function up, has it moved or am I doing something wrong?
I think I’m running the latest version of aperture.
Any advise?

Changing location names

Hi Tim,
Best way to accomplish this is going to Metadata -> Manage My Places
It will open an window with all your locations. Find the one with the name you want to change, then on the Place Name just below the Map you can rename that location name to whatever you want. Also I find it useful to zoom to the appropriate level you want and also to decrease the circle to encompass only the are you are interested in. Click done when you have done all the changes you want.

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but your suggestion has been most helpful and allowed me to update and change the locations of some of my pictures.
