If I'm shooting raw on a 5D MKIII with “lens Aberration Correction” enabled and setup for both chromatic aberration and peripheral illumin. on my Canon lenses. This information isn't being processed in Aperture's rendering of the raw image ~ right?
So my options are to disable this feature or switch to LR.
It seems to me that the AWB is a little to warm most of the time. I need to do some online research on maybe making some adjustments to default AWB.
Correct. In fact it will only be evident via in-camera JPG, or via Canon’s raw processor that can acknowledge those settings and apply them during post processing. Nikon has a similar setting in their newer camera bodies for lens correction, etc, but no third-party raw processors can leverage that.
The embedded preview with the raw file will have those settings applied. As soon as you have your raw processing software generate its own preview you lose it.
