Default "Version x" name #1

Hello,

When I make an adjustment to the master file, Aperture automatically creates a new version and calls it “<filename> - Version 2” (I have create a new version for adjustment enabled in the preferences dialog). I am just wondering if there is a way to configure Aperture to not use “Version x” and name it with something user-defined instead?
I do understand that I can update the metadata and change the version name to something else that I like to, but for the most part I don't do this and wish that I could have Aperture name the new version with something automatically other than “Version x”. Hope this make sense.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Derek,

Nope, not currently possible. Good feature request though, for sure.

Hi Joseph,

Thank you for replying.

Oh well, hopefully this might be a new feature in the next release of Aperture?? :-)
