Disable automatic lens corrections #1

Hi all,

I want to see the most faithful representation of a lens’ optical characteristics. However, it appears that Aperture offers no way to disable lens corrections applied at import / RAW decode. Has anyone investigated this?

In terms of optical fidelity I prefer my experimental results from Capture One and dcraw, but I love Aperture’s balanced color science and rely on its organizational features for my workflow. The aperture.plist doesn’t seem to be hiding anything that would turn off the corrections, and I’ve even gone so far as to investigate the feasibility of stripping the metadata tags before import (using ExifTool), but as of this writing it does not seem possible due to Fuji’s proprietary metadata format.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Skylar
