when exporting to an aperture plug in, ideally, should i assign a color space profile like Adobe 1998, or sRGB, or just leave it undefined?

For most work and Little loss of color information use Adobe98. If it is going to web only use Srgb. Thats the general rule. I didnt think you could leave it undefined…now Ill have to check again.

If you choose not to convert to a different profile at export, then the file will remain in its current space. So if your raws are being treated as AdobeRGB (your in-camera choice) then opening in a plugin without conversion should leave the image in AdobeRGB. I don’t use plugins so I can’t verify.
