This morning I wanted to search my master Library to find all images that included both my wife and I, and that were taken this year. Aperture could find nothing newer than January. I repaired permissions. No change. I repaired the database. No change. Finally I had to Rebuild Database on my Master Library. First time I’ve ever had to do that, but it did the trick. All images now show up.

I knew there were images from a May 2013 trip to New England that included both of us, and that I had been meticulous in adding keywords to those images. At first I thought I had hit a bug in Aperture 3.5.1, but I now think not.

It makes me wonder what else the Rebuild Library indexed in my Library that I did not find in prior searches and didn’t know it!
