Whenever I use the straightening tool in Aperture 3 my photos go soft, and when I undo they go back to being sharp again. Is anyone else having this issue and if so have you figured out a way to fix it?

I’ve got both updates and I’m still having issues. I’ve even magnified the loupe to 400% on some sharp edges to make sure my mind is playing tricks on me, and I still get the result of losing some of the overall sharpness when I straighten the image.
Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help David.

This ended up being that same as my blur tool problem. Not sure what really caused it, but the reinstall seems to have fixed it.

I have the same exact problem! Reinstalling fixed your issue? I will have to give that a try tonight. I thought I was crazy when I first saw this issue.
Not fuzzy here. Can you confirm you’ve applied all the updates so you are on Aperture 3.0.1 and that you’ve applied the Pro Kit update: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1008 ?
